Happy New Year!!!

I know this is a little late.  But whatever.  We've been busy.  We had a really fun New Year's Day.  We don't do much for New Year's Eve.  The kids were in bed by their normal time, and Hubby and I just played on our respective computers until about two minutes before midnight, when we turned on the TV and watched the ball drop in NYC, gave each other a quick kiss, and then went to bed.

New Year's Day, on the other hand, we had big plans.  We took the kids skiing for the first time this season.  This is Connor's third year skiing, but Tyler's first.  We took him on one mini run on a practice hill last year, but that doesn't really count.  This year he got to ride the lift, and ski down a full run. He did awesome.  By the end of the day, he was beat, but wanted to go again.  And again.  he was pretty bummed when the lift closed and we had to leave. Connor did awesome too, and even did a couple of runs without using the harness.  I'm so proud of them.
