While we were there, the kids got lots of love from both their west-coast aunt (WCA) and their Gramps. Gramps is a real character. He's getting on in years and doesn't get around as well as he once did, but he doesn't let that slow him down. Much. The first day we were there, he broke out this little charmer.
And then all the boys rode around the complex together.
The kids spent most of our visit doing this, just riding their bikes around the townhouse complex. And that suited them just fine.
Both kids got really good at watching for cars, and moving out of the way when they came.
We did make it over to a fun little park nearby too.
And the coolest thing of all, was that WCA had some little birdies literally right outside her window. They were less than 2 weeks old when we visited, and so ugly they were cute.
I missed out on a lot of the action during this visit because I got sick. But that's a post for next time.
